Castro Art Walk
Local Take is very excited to be participating in the August Art Walk with eko jewelry design. Eko Wright's minimalistic pieces are influenced by the Japanese concepts of nature as tranquil and elegant, yet simple and imperfect. The geometric forms of her Galaxy Collection suggest and highlight the unknown mystery and infinity of the cosmos. She grew up in a quiet town in northern Japan where she had a very clear view of the stars in the night sky. Her favorite event was the Star Festival when they wrote wishes on colorful strips of paper and hung them in bamboo trees. The stones set in her Galaxy Collection represent the twinkling stars from her childhood memories... and they're waiting for your wishes!

For September's art walk we will be hosting Rebecca from OoodleBadoodle. Rebecca is making the world a more huggable place with her whimsical pillows (we might even get to help her stuff some). Stay tuned for more info and mark your calendar for Thursday, September 6.
