Bookend with Rivets - Made from the GG Bridge

Limited edition - Only two can potentially be made from a hundred feet of steel.

This bookend was cut from an I-Beam and the cap portion found at the top of each section of the original Golden Gate Bridge handrail. Each piece is brushed clean of debris and rough edges and given a fresh coat of International Orange paint. Most pieces contain characteristic weathering in the steel from decades of exposure to the ocean wind and salt air of the Bay.
